Dian Fossey was one of the world’s foremost primatologists. She studied the mountain gorillas in the forests of Rwanda for 18 years before her tragic death in 1985. In celebration of her birthday (January 16), we are looking at some of our favorite mountain gorilla safaris, not only in Rwanda, but in Uganda and the Republic of Congo, too.
