The Marlborough Lodge, New Zealand
The Marlborough Lodge has quite a history behind it. It was originally located in Blenheim, built as a convent in 1901 for the Sisters of Mercy. It was later moved to its present location and converted into a Bed and Breakfast. In May, Marlborough Tour Company purchased it and plans to turn it into a luxury lodge, set to open in November. It’s available for exclusive use, making it the perfect place for a family trip over the Thanksgiving holidays. It is set on 16 acres of parkland and vineyards and its 10 suites sleep up to 20 people. From there, it is easy to explore the Marlborough region with a day cruise on the Marlborough Sounds on board a private yacht.
Iniala Beach House, Phuket, Thailand
If you’re a “Keeping up with the Kardashians” fan, you might remember their extravagant family vacation in Thailand. They stayed at the Iniala Beach House, a VIP experience on Phuket’s Natai Beach.
