At Ker & Downey, we believe that people matter. It’s the people who make up this incredible company who work to make your journey truly memorable. Over the course of the last year, we’ve been introducing you to the people that make up Ker & Downey. You can also read more about us here.
A bona fide “RV kid,” Elizabeth Frels caught the exploration bug early, driving from her central childhood home of Wichita, KS to hidden gems and national parks throughout the U.S. By the time she was 17, she had studied ancient civilization along the Mediterranean and toured as many European cathedrals as possible. In college, she traveled to the United Kingdom, Ireland, Austria, Spain, Nigeria, and Uganda all prior to graduation. Elizabeth joined Ker & Downey’s marketing team in 2014 and currently resides in colorful Denver, CO with her husband. When they are not planning their next mountain escapade, the duo enjoys biking, cooking, visiting the library, supporting Colorado’s craft brew scene, going to the symphony, and hosting game nights.
Favorite place you’ve traveled: New Zealand
Favorite city and why: London, UK – it has a lot to do with the memories made and the many friends who still live there. I will never get enough of the city’s art, culture, history, Indian food, and markets. I adore the South Bank and could ride the Tube and meander through the city’s neighborhoods all day if given the opportunity.
What is the best thing about traveling: For me, it is always about the people and exposing myself to new and different cultures. It has a humbling way of putting life into perspective and developing respect for everyone despite any differences.
