At ten Sara visited Botswana and Victoria Falls with her family and the travel bug hit her hard. Her most vivid memories of the trip are the sounds of the lions’ roars the first night sleeping out in the Okavango Delta and the sunrise out on the mokoro the next morning while gazing on a pod of hippos. It’s these memories and more that kept Sara returning to Africa year after year and eventually led her to become one of our Africa Destination Specialists. She’s since traveled to Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Morocco, Egypt, Nepal, and Italy.
