The Scenic Jasper, Opal, and Amber are a delightful trio in the Scenic Cruise line family. Sailing the European Rhine, Main, and Danube Rivers, these vessels are known as “Space-ships” for their roomy suites and public areas. It’s easy to forget you are on a ship and not in a five-star luxury hotel.

Scenic Cruises reduced the number of cabins on the Jasper, Opal, and Amber to 82 while increasing the number of staff for greater personal service. It’s this world-class service that makes each cruise truly memorable. The three sister ships each have four decks which boast a variety of dining options, entertainment, the Vitality Pool, and wellness areas including massage services and a hair salon.

The Panorama Lounge is the heart of the ship. With plush seating, tea and coffee-making facilities, and nighttime entertainment, most of the guests congregate here to watch the countryside unfold through the large picture windows.

When hunger strikes, there are five dining options aboard the ships. In the main dining room, referred to as Crystal Dining, you will find open seating and a wide range of cuisine from seafood to local specialties. Portobello’s is the fine dining restaurant on each ship. It seats 32 guests per night. Table La Rive is an intimate dining experience for up to 10, and is exclusive to the Diamond Deck guests. There, you’ll dine on a six-course meal with sommelier-paired wines. At the River Café, enjoy light, all-day dining with items like salads, sandwiches, and sweets on offer.

Suites are spacious. The Royal Owner’s Suite and Panorama Suites are the crown jewel of Scenic Cruises. With 315 square feet, an outdoor balcony, lounge area, and generously sized bathroom, the suites are the height of luxury on the European waterways. The stylishly decorated Balcony Suites feature balconies that make use of Scenic’s exclusive Sun Lounge technology. With the push of a button, a top glass window drops down to create an open-air balcony.

A journey with Scenic Cruises is an all-inclusive, luxury experience. Enjoy unlimited complimentary beverages and spirits, private butlers that attend to your needs, and a wide range of shore excursions. Pedal through the countryside on the ship’s E-bikes, electronic bikes that take the hard work out of riding.

Scenic Cruises sail on select dates from March to December. Children ages 12 and older are welcome; children ages 7-11 are welcome on select dates and on prior arrangement.
