Guests are hosted by owners Giorgia and Stefano who have poured their passion into restoring the stunning 16th-century hunting lodge to its original glory, with thoughtful updates for the modern world.
This exclusive-use chalet can host up to 10 guests in four unique bedrooms that are at once bright and cozy. With views over the Pusteria Valley or into the thick Alpine woods, guests are completely enveloped in the refreshing mountain scenery. Repurposed wood, luxury fabrics, handcrafted furnishings – these are the creative details that surround guests within the home. A Finnish sauna and Turkish bath are on offer to help put the mind and body at ease.
Giorgia is both host and chef for guests of San Lorenzo Mountain Lodge, preparing homemade specialties in the custom kitchen and serving them paired with delectable South Tyrol wines. A small stable has been converted into a wine cellar where over 1,500 bottles of the finest creations of the region can be sampled. Guests may also set out into the valley to visit local wineries, and to gather wild mushrooms and berries in the summer. Active visitors will thrill at hiking, biking, and climbing in the Dolomites, or soaring over the ranges on a paragliding adventure. In the winter the region transform into a canvas of powder white, ripe for downhill skiing and snowboarding or cross-country skiing in the forested landscape.
