Longitude 131° lies at the gateway of the World Heritage wildernesses of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. The camp is eco-friendly and romantically serene, with incredible tented accommodations and spectacular views of the sun rising and setting over Uluru (Ayers Rock).

There are only 15 tents in total at Longitude 131°, providing an amazingly private atmosphere from which to enjoy this incredible environment. Tents are luxurious, and no detail has been overlooked in ensuring that each stay is a special experience that nurtures body, mind, and soul. Fabric flows outward from a white dome roof to give the illusion of camping, while the accommodations themselves are unbelievably comfortable. The tents are designed to remain cool in summer and warm in winter, and they feature climate control for each guest’s comfort. The en-suite bathrooms are private and include all of the amenities one needs for a fulfilling stay, such as spacious rain showers and bathrobes. Complimentary mini bars, intriguing local artifacts, and iPads filled with entertainment and music round out the “glamping” experience.

Longitude 131 offers a delicious menu of contemporary world-class Australian cuisine with an emphasis on utilizing fresh indigenous produce. The menu changes daily to incorporate the best ingredients in a mouth-watering display. Meals are generally shared in the Dune House or under the desert stars at the coveted Table 131°. This is a unique dining experience featuring an a la carte menu and wine pairings accompanied by stunning display of the ever-changing colors of Ayers Rock as the desert stars emerge above. Guests can also arrange to dine in the library or in their room, and special arrangements are available at an extra charge for dining on the Dune Top or poolside.

Time at Longitude 131 is spent learning about the stunning cultural landscape and the ancient culture of the traditional owners, or exploring the stunning flora and fauna with the camp’s expert guide. An amazing touring program is included with each stay, and optional tours are available at an extra charge like helicopter and scenic flights, Harley rides, camel rides, and hiking in the Valley of the Winds.
