Located at the foothills of the Andes, Tipiliuke Lodge is set in the heart of a 50,000-acre working cattle ranch. The ranch was founded in 1909 and was one of the first established ranches in the Patagonia. Tipiliuke Lodge is the perfect place from which to explore the surrounding area by horseback, on foot or bicycle, and fly fishing in the rivers for trout.
The lodge is reminiscent of an English country home, with nine luxuriously-appointed rooms, each with a private bathroom, and French windows that look out into the gardens. A living room with a wood-burning fireplace is the perfect place to unwind at the end of a long day with a cocktail from the bar. If you prefer, outdoor seating areas provide the fresh air of the Patagonia with incredible views in every direction. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the lodge to stay connected to the outside world, but it is likely that you will be too busy with the wide array of activities available at the lodge.
Horseback riding at Tipiliuke Lodge is a wonderful way to explore the Argentine Patagonia. Gauchos have been riding the country for 100 years and have used the horses for their day to day operations on the working cattle ranch. With such experienced horses, beginners and expert riders will both feel comfortable on their horse. Riders are accompanied by knowledgable English speaking guides and Argentine gauchos to explore more than 50,000 acres of beautiful scenery and the wildlife of Patagonia. Large herds of red deer, Andean condors, guanacos, and even the elusive puma are just some of the varied wildlife that can be seen on rides. After a day of riding, return to the lodge for cocktails and a delicious dinner of authentic regional cuisine.Request Information
