Property Details

Nyasirori Tented Camp is the newest of the Legendary Expeditions Camps, joining its sister camps of Subeti Tented Camp, Mbono Tented Camp, and Mwiba Tented Camp. From its elevated position, Nyasirori overlooks the Grumeti River and the picturesque region beyond. Just six en-suite canvas tents are on offer at camp, each comfortably furnished in classic safari style. En-suite baths include double basin sinks and the comforts of home in spite of the wild and isolated location of camp.

Embark into the region with a private guide in an open 4×4 game vehicle, equipped with a sense of adventure, keen eyes for spying big game and birdlife, and a picnic lunch to enjoy later in the bush. Morning and afternoon game drives will showcase the diversity of the area wildlife and their different activities during the course of their day: the first rustlings of the morning, the lazy moments in the shade of the midday, and the scurry as the sun sets. The waters of the Grumeti River are a year-round draw for resident herds and the river’s close proximity to Nyasirori Tented Camp makes this an ideal safari destination at any time of the year. Nyasirori is also a noted corridor within the Serengeti and a popular highway for the movement of wildebeest, zebra, and other grazers that make their annual trek for grasses and giving birth as a part of the Great Migration natural phenomenon. Ballooning is possible in this region as well, offering a one-of-a-kind safari view from above.

Guests in search of a private safari experience for large groups or families will find their expectations exceeded at Nyasirori Tented Camp. The entire Serengeti Tanzania safari camp can be booked exclusively, and more tents can be added to the three existing tented suites in order to accommodate the whole group of safari-goers, up to 16 people.
