Just 11 thatched-roof suites comprise the accommodations at Lupita Island on Lake Tanganyika. Each suite combines local materials with comfortable furnishings and a bed swathed romantically in netting, producing a unique blend of rustic and chic. The lake-facing side of each suite has been left completely open, allowing for a windowless view of the picturesque vistas beyond. Bathrooms too are open air while retaining complete privacy and feature waterfall showers, with the option of a plunge pool or tub on the exterior deck.
