The luxurious Okonjima Bush Camp in Namibia is situated at the edge of a wilderness area and features eight thatched, African-style chalets and a lapa in the form of a camel thorn pod. Each chalet is exclusive and utterly private, designed in the earthy tones of ochre and khaki-green. Each luxury chalet is spacious, and guests will enjoy bushveld vistas from the front of their chalet. The main lodge lapa includes a rustic fireplace, dining area, and the kitchen where fabulous meals are prepared using fresh and fine ingredients. The dining area overlooks a waterhole where game come to drink and rest.

All chalets offer an en suite bathroom with showers, toilets, and sinks. Luxurious amenities fill the rooms so guests can indulge and refresh. Meals consist of an early morning snack before the days activities begin. A brunch is served after the morning trail and fresh fruits, hot and cold refreshments are served throughout the day. In the afternoon, tea and coffee along with delicious savory treats are served at just the right time. In the evenings, a fabulous three-course meal is certain to delight guests. Okonjima Private Bush Suite

The Okonjima Private Bush Suite overlooks another watering hole in its own secluded acacia thorn-veld. The two-bedroom suite is ideal for groups or families of four. The suite has its own pool, and one of the rooms has a sleeping deck for nights under the stars. One of the room’s queen beds can be rolled out onto the deck in the evening, and then back into the room for a nap shaded from the daytime sun. A private host and chef tend to guests in the suite.

Bathrooms are en suite, with additional outdoor showers and one colonial style bath-with-a-view. Entries and exits blend glass panels and roll-down canvas and gauze partitions so that you can enjoy truly panoramic views, and the sounds of nature from the comfort and security of the Okonjima Private Bush Suite.
