Property Details

Onguma Game Reserve in Namibia is located in the eastern region of Etosha National Park, neighboring Fisher’s Pan and sheltering some 30 different species of plains wildlife. Find zebra, impala, giraffe, kudu, and oryx on game drives through the region, and perhaps even find cheetah, leopard, and lion in pursuit. Birding enthusiasts will be kept busy too, watching the trees and the skies for some of the 300 bird species that have been sighted within the reserve.

Onguma Bush Camp

Families can safari together with ease at Onguma Bush Camp. A selection of 16 rooms, some of them including loft sleeping spaces, were designed especially for children and families. Shared lounge and dining areas have an excellent view of the waterhole in camp, and a swimming pool and games room provide further recreation between game drives.

Onguma Tented Camp

Elegantly designed to emulate the natural surroundings of the reserve, seven luxury tents elevate the safari experience. Suede and linen mingle with stone and steel in the modern interiors to craft the perfect balance of contemporary design and safari styling. Onguma Tented Camp is open to children over the age of 12.

Onguma Tree Top

Just four rooms are on offer at Onguma Tree Top. Composed of thatch and canvas, the suites are raised on wooden stilts, positioning guests within the surrounding trees for a view from the tree tops, as the name suggests. This tree house complex overlooks one of the very best watering holes in the reserve, delighting guests with lovely vistas across the bush as the resident game meanders by for a drink. Onguma Tree Top may be booked exclusively by families or small groups of travelers.

Onguma – The Fort

A commanding view of sunset is just one of the highlights at The Fort. Anchored by the Main Fort and its dominating tower, 11 suites and an opulent honeymoon suite are connected by wooden decking and positioned at a comfortable distance from each other to keep the ultimate privacy and exclusivity. Stunning antique doors and windows contrast with the unfinished stone to create a space distinct from its neighbors, imbued with charming Moroccan and Indian flair. The single Sultan Suite enjoys a prominent place in the Main Tower, complete with a private viewing deck and lounge with satellite television.

Each space operates as its own retreat within the reserve, including dining areas, swimming pools, and relaxing lounges.
