Just eight passengers will revel in the four contemporary and spacious suites, each outfitted with twin or double beds and en suite showers.

Enchante’s outdoor deck boasts an idyllic view of the surrounding landscape from the spa pool and comfy loungers. At mealtime, you are invited to witness the chef prepare your gourmet meal in the open-plan demonstration gallery, followed by dinner at the formal dining room indoors or alfresco on the upper deck as the countryside slowly drifts by.

Built between 1667 and 1694, the Canal du Midi is UNESCO-listed for its feat of civil engineering linking the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. A journey along its locks is full of unique highlights, whether its a private winery tour and Minervois wine tasting, a conversation with the locals in the colorful markets, a sample of Lucques olives at an olive oil press, a leisurely lunch near Lagrasse’s 8th century abbey, wandering through the medieval city of Carcassonne with its 52 watchtowers, truffle hunting in the oak forests, or an exploration of Narbonne, a former Roman port with an underground labyrinth of ancient warehouses.
