Singita Ebony Lodge has been redesigned to combine the best of tented camping and bush lodge style. Experience the bush in utmost style and luxury with Ker & Downey.
“A contemporary take on the classic safari.” That’s how Graham Kennedy, General Manager of Singita Sabi Sand describes the complete re-design of Singita Ebony Lodge, Singita’s original lodge. With this re-launch of Singita Ebony Lodge, Singita has reinvented its private 45,000 acre game reserve in the Sabi Sand. This new re-design combines the best of tented camping and bush lodge style with huge open spaces, canvas and glass walls, and private plunge pools in the 12 suites. Walls were removed to allow light to flood the suites. At the library, it now feels as if you are sitting in a big Ebony tree since its walls removed. Outdoor decks have been suspended above the river banks and built around the two original Ebony trees. It’s a place to connect to nature in utmost luxury.
With this redesign, Singita Ebony Lodge is also introducing the Singita Ebony Villa, a new private-use villa, available for bookings from January 2016. The villa is ideal for families, especially those with younger children, or groups traveling together and looking for exclusivity. It has its own private entrance and boma, but guests may also visit the main lodge. While staying at the villa, guests will enjoy a private guide and vehicle, chef, host, and personal waiter. It’s perfect for four adults and four children under 12 or up to six adults and teenagers.
