The main lodge of Gorilla Forest Camp features a gift boutique, bar, and dining cottage that afford excellent views of the rainforest. Later in the evenings, educational lectures and gorilla briefings occur around the traditional campfire to prepare guests for their Uganda gorilla trekking adventures the following day.

Gorilla trekking, though the most popular, is not the only activity available at Gorilla Forest Camp. Guests can also enjoy forest walks and cultural interactions with local Batwa Pygmy inhabitants. In addition to gorillas and six other primate species, the Bwindi area is also home to unique forest-adapted animals such as the forest elephant, 200 species of butterfly, and 324 varieties of trees. For avid bird watchers, there are over 360 bird species to be found in the forest. Gorilla Forest Camp and its surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable National Park are a true paradise in Uganda and Africa.
