Architect and interior designer Jean-Baptiste Barian lent his expertise in Arab-Andalusia  architecture to the conception and construction of the hotel. His design makes liberal use of arches and columns, intricate moucharabiehs, carved timber, brass finishes, and walls of zellige tiles.

Just 25 suites can be found in the Palais Faraj accommodation collection, each individually designed to incorporate traditional elegance and modern standards.
