Deplar Farm is surrounded by the remote Fljot Valley along the mountainous Troll Peninsula. In the chillier months, a thick, fluffy-looking blanket of snow covers the landscape. In the warmer months, a carpet of green grass gleams against the endless blue skies. Activities are possible here year-round, including the coveted heli-skiing experience from mid-March to the end of May.
The 13 rooms are housed in a converted sheep farm fitted with the coziest, high-end upgrades. You won’t need to count sheep in the snuggly king and queen beds; you’ll fall right asleep covered in Moroccan wool. Textured walls and slanted ceilings provide a cocoon of comfort, and a cozy contrast to the raw landscape just outside your floor-to-ceiling windows.
