The Louise, a luxury vineyard retreat, is located in the heart of the Barossa wine country in South Australia, just a little over one hour from Adelaide. It sits among over 100 wineries in one of the world's finest wine producing regions and is surrounded by hundreds of acres of vines and 150-year old architecture.
Fifteen suites, each with private terraces that offer stunning views across the Barossa Valley, make up the accommodations. Each suite features large en suite bathrooms with spa tubs and rain showers, a dual vanity, and heated towel rails. A theme of fresh and contemporary design permeates each of the relaxing accommodations, extending into the decor and artworks of the hotel’s main areas and grounds.
The Appellation Restaurant is one of the finest restaurants in the region and uses locally sourced produce to showcase regional specialties and the culture of Barossa. Executive Chef Ryan Edwards and his team even harvest from the kitchen garden, bake fresh bread, and butcher and cure the meat for the Appellation. The five course Chef’s Tasting Menu has received national awards for showcasing fresh produce and complimenting it with perfect wine pairings. The restaurant also has an extensive wine list that includes some of the best wines from Barossa, Australia, and other major wine regions in the world.
The epicurean culture is celebrated to the fullest in Barossa Valley, and guests are encouraged to get out and discover. Private wine tastings or a trip to the popular Barossa Farmer’s Market can be arranged by The Louise, along with various other activities including hot air ballooning, helicopter rides, and in-suite massages.Request Information
