The Appellation Restaurant is one of the finest restaurants in the region and uses locally sourced produce to showcase regional specialties and the culture of Barossa. Executive Chef Ryan Edwards and his team even harvest from the kitchen garden, bake fresh bread, and butcher and cure the meat for the Appellation. The five course Chef’s Tasting Menu has received national awards for showcasing fresh produce and complimenting it with perfect wine pairings. The restaurant also has an extensive wine list that includes some of the best wines from Barossa, Australia, and other major wine regions in the world.
The epicurean culture is celebrated to the fullest in Barossa Valley, and guests are encouraged to get out and discover. Private wine tastings or a trip to the popular Barossa Farmer’s Market can be arranged by The Louise, along with various other activities including hot air ballooning, helicopter rides, and in-suite massages.
