Itinerary Description:

Beijing's major sites will welcome you to China on your first few days. See the Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, and spend a full day at the Great Wall as you experience Beijing and its magnificent history from two distinct locations: the towering Waldorf Astoria and the historic pavilions of Aman Summer Palace. At the latter, enjoy private access into the Summer Palace grounds, complete with a boat ride on Kunming Lake.

Next is the port city of Qingdao, famous for its unique blend of German and Chinese culture. Explore the city streets and visit the Tsingtao brewery along Qingdao Beer Street. You will also see the top of Mt. Laoshan and take in an unforgettable view of the coast and city.

Continue to Hangzhou, a city of "Heaven on Earth." Tranquil temples, a boat ride and performance on West Lake, and a visit to the Longjing tea village are among the highlights of your time here. You will also be introduced to a traditional Chinese medicine doctor who will educate you on his ancient art.

It's back to the city now as you travel to Shanghai via high speed railway. The historic areas of the city and the wonderful gardens and architecture of nearby Suzhou will fill your remaining days on your fantastic luxury journey to China.
