Itinerary Description:

The Central European Quartet is a symphony of diverse experiences. Seek out magnificent architecture, delicious culinary experiences, and tangible manifestations of events that remain forever woven into the fabric of human history. In true Ker & Downey fashion, each experience throughout these four countries is fully-customizable to focus on what most interests you and your intrepid traveling partners.

Our suggested itinerary begins in Krakow, Poland, where you will explore the city and two impactful sites: the astounding carvings and tunnels of the Wieliczka Salt Mines, and the tragic site of the Auschwitz concentration camp. Warsaw is next, and the city's cultural story is traced from the masterful artistry of former aristocratic homes to the reconstructed facades of Old Town.

Your Central European Quartet continues to the second country: Hungary. Together with your private guide, discover Budapest and witness how the centuries spent immersed in different cultures have shaped the face of the city.
