Farm to Table
Enjoy a fresh escape
Reap the benefits of farm-fresh ingredients and the quaint details of a country escape at some of our favorite farm to table destinations, all with working farms on-property and each ideal for a visit during North America’s autumn.
One & Only Reethi Rah, Maldives
The One&Only Reethi Rah’s Botanica by Brent Savage is a garden-to-fork restaurant, which is quite innovative considering their earth is all sand. Even so, the menu focuses on fresh vegetables, herbs, and spices from the chef's garden. In order to plant fruits, vegetables, and herbs, they’ve made compost that they mix with the sand. They also repurposed pipes from previous refurbishments to create a large hydroponic garden.
Gibb's Farm, Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania
Boasting an on-site dairy and acres of organic produce, herbs, and coffee, this historic farmhouse is the perfect retreat on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater. Bakery-fresh breads and ingredients straight from the field make each farm to table meal a special experience for guests.
Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai, Thailand
Set amidst terraced rice paddies, this acclaimed resort delivers an authentic Siamese up-country atmosphere. Reserve the Rice Barn for a completely custom five-course meal, or dine at the Chef’s Table to learn the secrets of sumptuous local cuisine.

Hacienda Zuleta, Ecuadorian Andes, Ecuador
This 17th-century hacienda is home to a working sheep, trout, and dairy farm. Additionally, its old-growth gardens have been tended by the same family for generations.
