Day 1 – 3: Whistler
First begin your British Columbia Luxury Tour with three days in Whistler, a quick two-hour drive from Vancouver. This is one of Canada’s adventure capitals, so the activities promise plenty of family fun. For example, go zip-lining in the picturesque forest valley between Whistler and the Blackcomb Mountains. Additionally, consider such activities as hiking, mountain biking, and sightseeing by floatplane. On your final day, choose between a gondola ride to the top of the mountain, a white water rafting trip, a guided 4×4 tour of a black bear habitat, or an ATV ride through Whistler’s backcountry.
Day 4 – 6: Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge
Next, continue your British Columbia Family Adventure on the shores of Clayoquot Sound on Vancouver Island. For your tented family suite at Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge, set off to explore the wilds of Canada’s west coast. Travel miles of First Nations paths on foot or on horseback. Day 7 – 10: Vancouver
Finally, head to the heart of Vancouver, an exciting city known for its cultural diversity and spectacular parks. Indeed, an entire day has been set aside to experience all of the best this British Columbia city offers for families. For example, walk or cycle the ocean-hugging seawall to Stanley Park, a 1,000 acre rainforest in the heart of downtown that has a collection of totem poles to admire. You will also visit the Vancouver Aquarium or Science World – your choice! — as well as the colorful Kids Market on Granville Island. Lastly, travel to nearby Victoria for an epic whale watching excursion through the Juan de Fuca Strait in an open-air Zodiac. Sea otters, porpoises, orcas, humpbacks, and gray whales all make their home here.
