More Details

Upon arrival in Salzburg, enjoy a formal meet and greet with your VIP host and art expert, who will lead you through the ins and outs of the Salzburg Opera Festival during your stay.

After settling into your luxurious rooms at Hotel Sacher Salzburg, embark on a horse drawn carriage ride through Old Town Salzburg, traveling through its charming streets to its many historic landmarks.

Today enjoy a private visit of Hellbrunn Castle with its famous trick fountains. Continue to yet another Sound of Music landmark, Nonnberg Abbey, the oldest nunnery north of the Alps. Visit Mönchsberg as well as the famous Lanz shop for traditional dresses.

If you are interested in modern and contemporary art, visit some of Salzburg’s galleries and the top of the Mönchsberg. This is also a lovely place to have lunch on the terrace with its impressive view over Salzburg’s historic center.

In the evening, join the elegant music aficionados at one of the most sought after operas of this festival season. Afterwards, you have a reservation at one of the best tables in the city.

Today, drive through the fabulous alpine Salzburg landscape to Winterstellgut in an antique Oldtimer. If the weather permits, you may even get to drive a convertible.

Stop at a unique property for some of the most refined regional cuisine and stunning views of the mountains. The property hosts not only a high-end restaurant, but also a Haflinger breeding center.

Return back to your hotel to freshen up for a concert or another opera. Enjoy not only the sophisticated performances, but also the incomparable atmosphere created by the world’s upper echelon of VIPs. Join the swarms of music lovers after the performance in a typical Salzburg restaurant.

On your final day in Salzburg, attend a morning concert of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.

Then take a private limousine to Eagle’s Nest for a look into German history.
Afterwards have tea in the Kempinski Hotel on top of the Obersalzberg overlooking the Berchtesgadener Alps, before being transferred back to your hotel.

Finally, the time has come to say farewell to Austria, the beauty of the Salzburg Opera Festival still lingering in the air. A private vehicle will pick you up and transfer you to the airport for your departing flight onward.
