More Details

Your travel to Greenland experience first begins at the airport where you will meet your private guide and enjoy a private transfer to the harbor. Here you will embark your boat cruise transfer along the world's second largest fjord system. Along the way, scout for humpback whales which often traverse these waters.

You will finally arrive at your luxury camp, Camp Kiattua, where you can experience offered individually adapted adventures in complete solitude.

After breakfast, set out on a short hike to the beautiful waterfall behind Camp Kiattua. Then take a boat cruise to the Kapisillit area, a notorious Greenlandic Salmon breeding spot. Learn the extraordinary Inuit fishing techniques, catching Arctic Char with your bare hands and traditional rods.

Enjoy a gourmet BBQ lunch of your catch by the river, prepared in the traditional Greenlandic way cooked directly on the rocks.

Finally, walk to the settlement of Kapisillit for a glimpse of local life at the settlement. Perhaps spend time with the locals, pick some berries, or go for long hikes filled with brilliant vistas of the ice cap.

Travel to Greenland then continues with a special kayaking excursion among the ice. This trip is for everyone, no matter your experience level.

After lunch back at camp, you will head out in a fast inflatable boat to look for the perfect iceberg. Experience the thrilling of swimming in the Arctic waters and standing on the ice, dressed in a special survival suit.

Finally, say farewell to your glamping site as you return to the Nuuk city center by boat cruise. Upon arrival, set out on a privately guided tour of Nuuk city in a 4x4 car. Stop at some of the best photo spots in town, and drive to the "end of the world," where you can see the Cook Islands and Mount Kingigtorsuaq. Also witness parts of the world's second-largest fjord system and look at Nuuk's landmark, Sermitsiaq Mountain. The tour then concludes at the Greenland National Museum.
Check in to your new rooms at Hotel Hans Egede, and enjoy dinner at the hotel's restaurant, Sarfalik.

Late tonight, say one final farewell to Greenland on an extraordinary private Northern Lights experience on Quassussuaq. Geared with snowshoes and headlamps, hike the backcountry of Nuuk with a local guide, and witness not only stunning views of Greenland's capital from above, but also a magical evening under the Aurora Borealis with a warm drink in hand.

At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport for your departing flight onward.
