This Greenland travel itinerary first begins in Ilulissat, Greenland's third-largest community. Surrounded by stunning nature, Ilulissat plays host to UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Ice Fjord.
Over four nights, you will not only deepen your understanding of Greenland and its people; you will also get up close to its stunning landscapes.
Go on a boat ride around the Ice Fjord at midnight, and witness again on a scenic flight to experience it from the air. You will also spend an entire day sailing to the Eqi glacier, sailing the coastline past tiny settlements, waterfalls, and icebergs of all shapes and colors. Finally, enjoy a morning whale watching tour through Disko Bay.
Of course, you also have the chance to learn more about Greenlandic culture. Hike to the pre-colonial Eskimo Ruins at Sermermiut, and visit the Dog Center to learn about the tradition of mushing.
