luxury Greenland tours can begin in either Nuuk or Ilulissat. This extension, however, takes advantage of the many direct flights to Ilulissat from major hubs in Europe.
Upon arrival, you will meet your host at the airport and be transferred to your hotel accommodations at Hotel Arctic. Afterwards, go on a private city walking tour of Ilulissat, famed for its giant icebergs and home to the World Heritage Site of Ilulissat Ice Fjord.
Stop for a drink in one of the small cozy cafes around town and enjoy a welcome dinner with your guide. Finally, embark on a spectacular boat ride around the fjord in the midnight sun with some champagne on board.

Today you will set out on a private hike to the shores of the Ice Fjord and the Eskimo Ruins at Sermermiut. Then continue the day by traveling by private boat to the small Inuit settlement of Rodebay, which boasts a population of around 40 people. Here you will have a private guided walking tour and lunch with the locals.
 
Later, enjoy a one-hour scenic flight where you will get a great overview of the ice fjord and glacier.
