Property Details

Guests may choose between 14 Riverfront rooms and six Pond/Garden view rooms located on the ground and second floors of the property’s 10 villas. All of the enormous and exquisitely furnished rooms feature silk tapestries and contemporary and traditional Laotian and Thai textiles representing the artistic talent of the local culture. The layout of the rooms make it impossible to miss the views: wrap-around terraces, wide windows, and an additional outdoor shower all provide extraordinary panoramas of the mountains, rice paddies, and deep waters of the Mekong River gliding by.

Head to the resort’s open-air Sala for lounging and open-air dining. The restaurant offers Western, Lao, and Thai cuisine featuring some of the freshest fish, pork, and local and New Zealand beef, vegetables from the Pakse wet market, and homemade desserts, ice creams, and sorbets. Dine al fresco on the shady riverside lawns, on the rooftop terrace under the stars, on the sandy beach of Turtle Island, or request an outdoor poolside barbecue. During the day, indulge in a traditional Lao or Thai massage or lounge in the comfortable chaise lounges at the massive infinity pool, cool drink in hand, as the river’s long-tailed boat life floats by and village fishermen cast their nets.

Activities onsite are plenteous. Stroll the bamboo-lined pathways of the verdant rice paddy and parkland with the chief gardener or rent complimentary bicycles for a pedal through the neighboring farming and fishing village or the charmingly laid-back Champassak Town. Take advantage of the daytime and sunset cruises along the Mekong River, as well as excursions to the nearby Wat Phou World Culture Heritage Site, waterfalls and coffee plantations on the Bolevan Plain, and the fabled 4,000 Islands. In the evening, witness dinner performances by traditional Lao dancers or join in a traditional Baci ceremony to give and receive a blessing of good luck.
