Room styles vary from traditional to mezzanine suites, which have free standing baths, while Junior Suites are a neutral abode with four poster king beds. For a real feeling of country house style, the Standard Rooms offer four poster and sleigh beds, window seats for reading and enjoying the views of the rolling countryside, and deep soaking baths. There is no rushing and no deadlines at this eco lodge.

Food and supplies are sourced from the natural surroundings nearby. Bee hives on-site make honey, and the pantry has a selection of pickled organic foods like mushrooms.

Drink a warm coffee in front of the fire or relax in the solarium in the Waterside Lounge. Italian cuisine is served at La Taverna Armento along with a glass of wine. Dine on organic meals of smokehouse salmon and fresh vegetables at the Strawberry Tree, the first and only restaurant in Ireland to have a full organic license.

BrookLodge fully embraces recycling. The Bio-Digester turns leftover food into compost, which is used to enrich the soil of the organic herb garden. Drink fresh spring water which is sourced and purified locally. Another spring provides thermal heat for the swimming pools, and efficient wood chip burners generate power to heat the hotel and its hot water.
