The Villa Manzu is perched on the top of a cliff above a crashing Costa Rican Pacific surf. This private villa has only eight unique suites, the perfect exclusive escape in paradise.

Property Details

Upon arrival at the Villa Manzu, you will be welcomed with an appropriate introduction to your tropical private paradise: fresh coconut water served in the shell. The isolated peninsula offers two swimming pools, a spa, and a bar. Snooze on one of the hammocks sprinkled throughout the lush grounds, natural spaces that are frequented by monkeys and parakeets.

No small detail is overlooked within the rooms. Ceilings are patterned with waves or leaves and bedroom doors are intricately carved wood from Indonesia. Bold patterned drapery and bedding and quirky seashell lamps give rooms a hint of the exotic in bright blues and oranges. Pamper yourself in the onyx and marble bathrooms—some feature large windows overlooking the beautiful tropical jungle. Rooms are spacious and the property can accommodate 22 guests in total.

Dine on fresh, organic local food prepared in the open kitchen. Meals can be customized to suit even the pickiest taste buds. Sip on a cocktail at one of the open-air bars while the tropical breeze soothes your skin.

Paddle board or kayak through the waters or hit the green at the Arnold Palmer golf course nearby. Splash along the surf on the palm-fringed beach on the cove of Playa Prieta. Take a dip in the infinity heated swimming pool that faces the top of the cliff and the ocean waters beyond. Drivers are available to whisk you away to explore nearby artisan and farmer’s markets, or to learn more about the area’s coffee production. Snorkel among a myriad of colorful creatures, some shy enough to hide in the volcanic rocks. It is a quiet underwater world filled with rays of light that make their way through the turquoise waters.

Spend the evening watching the stunning sunset and doze off dreaming of a lifetime in this serene place. Manzu means “friends” in the native Chorotegan language and the Villa Manzu’s hope is that this is a place to feel like you are being welcomed into the home of someone familiar.
