Chris Day graduated from Baylor University in 2011 with a BA in Journalism – News Editorial and a minor in film. His travels include skiing at various locations, mission trips to Mexico and Jamaica and a trip to Niagara Falls. Chris is a practicing guitarist and vocalist who enjoys writing, recording and playing music for himself and with his two bands in his free time.
Favorite place you’ve traveled: Hawaii
Favorite city and why: Austin. I connect with the artistic vibe and the food.
What is the best thing about traveling: Depends. Sometimes it’s the people I’m with or visiting, sometimes it’s nature, and sometimes it’s the activity – especially if I’m skiing.
Travel accessory you can’t live without? Phone.
Favorite plane ride activity: Napping, reading and listening to music in that order
Top of my travel bucket list: Norway
Two weeks + and unlimited budget, where are you going? Vegas if the budget is legitimately unlimited
Beach or mountains: Love both, but mountains
How do you take your coffee? Black
If they could bottle your personality what would the label read? Curious?
My theme song is: The Final Countdown
Any pets? No
If I were a super hero, I would be: Batman
Something I said I’d never do but did anyway was: Play country music
Two things I can’t live without are: Bed and automobile
It’s Sunday morning at 10 a.m. If I’m not sleeping, I’m: Exercising
My favorite physical activity is: Skiing
One thing I love that everyone else dislikes is: Metal music
The first thing I do when I wake up is: Typically – make breakfast
One thing people are surprised to find out about me is: I play in bands as I don’t have any tattoos and dress normal
The last concert I went to was: Nine Inch Nails/Soundgarden
My favorite toy to play with as a kid was: Wolverine action figure
If I could instantly learn a new language, I would learn: Norwegian
