Before joining the Operations Department at Ker & Downey, Michael Jackson worked in radio and litigation support – the latter sent him on a trip to Norway to videotape a deposition! He’s also traveled extensively through Europe and has visited 42 or the 50 states. In his free time, he is an independent filmmaker and enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
Favorite place you’ve traveled: Domestically – New York City, Internationally – Paris. Cliché? Absolutely, but I’ll stand firmly behind both cities’ deserved reputation as top tourist destinations simply because of the depth of experiences available in both.
Favorite city and why: Boston – the rich history and overall aesthetics, the influence of the universities on the city’s intellectual climate, the Sox and Bruins, Boston Cream Pies
What is the best thing about traveling: Experiencing the best of a culture – whether it be the food, customs, arts, or just simply the everyday life of a place.
Travel accessory you can’t live without? Camera
Favorite plane ride activity: Catching up on my reading
Top of my travel bucket list: Berlin
Two weeks + and unlimited budget, where are you going? Scandinavia (with a stopover in Iceland if time allows)
Beach or mountains: Mountains
How do you take your coffee? Black and as strong as possible
If they could bottle your personality what would the label read? Detail-oriented

Any pets? Not any more
If I were a super hero, I would be: Batman, because if there’s one thing that delights my son, it’s my terrible impersonation of the Christian Bale iteration of the Dark Knight.
