Some of the most common concerns clients have about traveling to our destinations include health-related questions regarding vaccination requirements, disease prevention, drinking water, and food safety. While Ker & Downey cannot prescribe medication or inoculations, we can recommend precautionary steps to help make your trip safe and enjoyable. We advise that all travelers seek medical advice, preferrably from a specialist in travel medicine, before travel and that they continue to seek advice during and after travel.

We cannot think of superlatives that would evenly closely measure up with the experience that you arranged for us. Each camp was placed perfectly in it’s own unique location.

Kalahari Plains -  No one believes that we visited the Central Kalahari because it was impossible to take a picture without flowers in it. The camp was almost totally self sustained with solar power and water filtration. The game was so unique. Our guide, Wilie, became our friend.

Mombo - One word “abundance!” The ”tent,” the overwhelming numbers of animals, the food, all combined together in one place. We learned so much from Tseppo, our guide.

Selinda - The staff and Moses our guide made this camp such a pleasure. The night game drive, the boat trip to see the Hippos, a walk with Moses at sundown with Wildebeest, Zebra, and our first Hyena made this a great way to end the journey.

Imagine our surprise to find a special bottle of wine with a note from you.

All in all we never missed a game drive, a meal, or an opportunity to learn from our hosts and fellow travelers.
