Little Makalolo’s location on the edge of the Botswana-Zimbabwe border is famous for its sublime biodiversity. With herds of cape buffalo and elephant numbering near 30,000 and over 100 different species of mammals, amazing game viewing is always within reach. Highly-trained professional guides chauffer guests through the wonders of the Hwange National Park via 4×4 vehicles or on foot. Spy the park’s denizens including leopard, giraffe, hippo, baboon, white rhino and several varieties of mongoose and antelope from the log pile hide.

The camp overlooks a busy waterhole where the area’s wildlife constantly congregate. To ensure a light footprint on the surrounding environment, solar energy powers the camp’s common areas and six suites. The tent’s spacious outdoor showers have unobstructed private views of the waterhole, while the en-suite accommodations include a shower and flush toilet. Each tent is appointed with soft bed linens, canvas roofs, solid wood accents and distinct bush decor.
