Kakuli Bush Camp

This seasonal camp is located along the confluence of the Luwi and Luangwa Rivers in the South Luangwa National Park, which is renowned for its wildlife. The camp comprises five intimate and shady tents with thatched roofs. Each is spacious with open, private bathrooms, stunning views up and down this hippo-packed river, and incredible service and meals.

Kakuli’s five tents feature spectacular open-air bathrooms from which to enjoy the magnificent night skies during an evening soak. The camp’s main area, the chitenje, is located on a wooden deck overlooking the grazing area leading to the two rivers. This is the perfect location from which to enjoy in-camp game viewing and to take in the beautiful scenery of the rivers below.

This is a truly authentic African walking safari accommodation, and many guests split their time between driving and walking safaris. Guests can decide each day whether to take part in driving safaris or stay closer to camp and enjoy the environment up close. Night drives provide amazing opportunities to enjoy the predators and the other nocturnal species in the area.
