Kibale National Park
Alive with the moist evergreen of rainforest, Kibale National Park is an extensive region teeming with life. The park was created in 1933 in order to protect a large area of forest previously known as a logged Forest Reserve. Queen Elizabeth National Park adjoins Kibale and is a great place for eco-tourism and incredible safari adventures.
Chimpanzee tracking is a popular adventure in this region, and the area is also well known for other species of Central African primates including the Uganda mangabey, the Ugandan red colobus and the L’Hoest’s monkey.
