This lodge is pure luxury with exquisite views of the plains from every location. Nine luxury cottages and a family villa are built in the style of an Edwardian manor house, with each cottage featuring a private infinity pool overlooking the plains. Bedrooms are richly appointed with traditional African influences working alongside imported chandeliers and hand-crafted furnishings to create a romantic and elegant atmosphere. Four poster beds, crisp luxury linens, and a cozy fireplace are among the lavish comforts in the en suite abodes.

In addition to the six one-bedroom suites, Sasakwa offers two- and three-bedroom accommodations to make traveling with a large group easier. The Private Retreat features four en suite bedrooms and a basement flat ideal for children or private staff.

At the main lodge, gourmet meals and vintage wines are served in a stone-wall structure carrying the Edwardian manor house theme. Riders of all experience levels are welcomed to the attached Equestrian Center to meet the fleet of 18 horses, any of them eager to escort guests into the bush on guided horseback safaris. Twice daily games drives into the 340,000 acres of the Grumeti Reserve will show you “where the land stretches to forever” and its wildlife.
