Sayari Camp

Sayari Camp is the only permanent camp in the northwestern Serengeti, an area largely untouched by heavy tourist traffic. Year round the concentration of wildlife is astounding, but because of its position on the Mara River, it becomes even more heavily populated during the Great Migration, when millions of wildebeest and zebra cross back and forth across the river searching for food.

Property Details

The camp comprises 15 tents in two wings, one of nine tents and one of six. The wings have separate dining areas to ensure personal service and quiet, intimate comfort. Each spacious tent has a private veranda overlooking the vast Serengeti and the en suite bathrooms are fully equipped with modern amenities, including an outdoor shower. The suite at Sayari also offers a private indoor bath and guests in the suite will enjoy personal service throughout their stay.

Sayari is an ideal destination for the discerning traveler, having being named to the Conde Nast Hot List, and having also been named the Tanzania Tourism Board’s Sustainable Camp of the Year is an attractive option for eco-friendly travelers. The camp’s remoteness allows for excellent game viewing amid beautiful wilderness, far from any other tourists. During your midday game viewing break, you can enjoy the marvelous vistas from your private veranda or take a dip in the stunning infinity pool.
