Olakira Camp
Olakira Camp is a mobile tented camp in the vast Serengeti National Park that moves once a year between the southern and central Serengeti areas, following the wildlife to their densest concentrations.
Property Details
Olakira is an intimate camp comprising eight guest tents and two common area tents. Guest tents feature comfortable beds, en suite bathrooms, and private verandas from which to enjoy in-camp game viewing and amazing views of the Serengeti.
The common area has two open tents, one of which acts as a lounge and the other as a dining tent. High quality cuisine is served in the dining tent, or meals can be arranged on your private veranda or under the Serengeti stars.
Both the southern and central Serengeti are renowned for game viewing. From December to March, Olakira is in the Ndutu region of southern Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. During this time, the annual migration takes over the plains to give birth to the next generation. From June to November, the camp moves to the central Serengeti, and from this location, guests can participate in exciting hot air balloon safaris over the plains.
