Kiba Point
Kiba Point is a small lodge available only on exclusive basis in the Selous Game Reserve. You won’t meet another traveler beyond the friends and family you brought with you and the private lodge staff during your stay.
Property Details
The four big, airy cottages can accommodate up to eight guests. They are constructed of stone and thatch and raised on platforms above the river line, keeping the interiors cool yet elegant. Your spacious, open bathrooms feature flush toilets, hot and cold running water, and an indoor and outdoor “rock” shower.
Each cottage has its own private plunge pool, and the main dining area has another large swimming pool. The dining area is spacious and includes a library and a bar for your private use.
Since the lodge is booked on exclusive basis, you will have access to a private guide and vehicles throughout your stay, and you can enjoy game drives or boating trips when you want. Bird watching and barefoot fishing in the river are excellent ways to pass the time here. The lodge will also be happy to arrange a night of fly-camping with bedrolls laid out under the vast starry skies.
