The main building, the Marina Rise, contains the hotels guest rooms and several suites, including the Presidential suite. Expansive glass doors lead out onto private balconies that offer unobstructed views of your surrounds, including the harbor and the beautiful Table Mountain. One of the hotel’s stunningly landscaped islands also features 32 Junior, four Island, and four Grand Suites, all of which have private balconies or terraces and views of the gorgeous waterway.

The resort features two world-class restaurants, a pool grill, and a lobby lounge bar in addition to an extensive selection of South African wines. Nobu, acclaimed chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa’s newest restaurant, serves a delicious array of classic Japanese cuisine incorporating fresh seafood and indigenous South African spices to create unique dishes. The stylish One&Only Restaurant features an open show kitchen and a creative menu of tapas-style treats highlighting the best of South African seafood and game as well as organic produce from local farms. The poolside grill, Isola, provides an all-day menu of snacks, wood-fired pizzas, and gourmet sandwiches. The Marina Rise building also features the Vista Bar, which links Nobu and maze through the lobby. The lounge has a massive window looking out over the private islands and Table Mountain.

One&Only Cape Town’s Wine Loft is a highlight of the resort’s dining experience. The loft has a magnificent collection of over 5,000 bottles with the country’s most extensive tasting menu, providing guests with the opportunity to savor some of the region’s rarest and most popular varietals. The tri-level wall of glass and steel commands the entrance to the loft, which is found within maze and showcases both acclaimed and undiscovered South African wines. Patrons at maze are escorted by an expert sommelier and invited to use the loft as a sort of “walk-in” wine list. In the mezzanine tasting room, more than 100 wines are available by the glass and served with suggested food pairings for an amazing culinary experience. Private tables are available for up to ten guests, and the third floor private dining room can be booked for private tastings or exclusive dinners at the chef’s table, hosted by the sommelier.
