Cape Cadogan
The Cape Cadogan is a stately two-story Georgian and Victorian building that dates back to the beginning of the nineteenth century. It was originally a farmhouse which was Victorianized in 1912 and declared a national monument in 1984.

This boutique hotel is well known for its comfortable and luxurious atmosphere. The reception areas are individually decorated and designed for comfort and tranquility. It is themed on the Irish literary figure Oscar Wilde who was renowned for his bohemian lifestyle throughout Europe and New York during the latter part of the ninteenth century. Patterned in whites, creams and soft tones it exudes luxury at every turn.
In the main hotel there are 12 luxury guest rooms that are decorated with an eclectic mix of contemporary and antique furniture using dramatic fabrics to maximum effect. For a more independent option, Cape Cadogan offers four apartments which are situated a few minutes walk from the hotel reception. Conveniently located just off fashionable Kloof Street, some of Cape Towns’ finest restaurants are a leisurely stroll away. Enjoy the buzz and breakfast at an array of street side cafes.
The Cape Cadogan has a presidential suite – the Owners Villa. The Villa is a private space which includes an open plan lounge, dining area and full service modern kitchen. These spaces open up with wide double framed doors onto an outdoor deck area where comfortable lounges lie around the private plunge pool.
