Located in the Cederburg region of the Western Cape, Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve and Retreat is an ecological oasis, uniting luxury and nature, providing the ultimate wilderness experience. A sanctuary to many endangered species of fauna and flora and unique for over 130 San Bushman rock art sites. Bushmans Kloof is a heavenly wilderness reserve and retreat of unparalleled beauty. The rebirth of this long-forgotten land holds the wonders of its flora, fauna and rock art. Surrounded by thousands of acres of majestic and savage beauty, it is located in the heart of the Cederburg Mountains.

With 16 luxurious rooms, the Kloof can accommodate a maximum of 32 guests. There are seven Luxury Rooms and six Deluxe Rooms, two Luxury Suites located in the manor house itself and the Riverside Supreme Suite is a private cottage located near the water with a private infinity pool.

Koro Lodge is located within the reserve and is anĀ ideal very private respiteĀ for families or small groups. It has two master suites, a loft area to accommodate up to four children and an entertainment room which can sleep up to two additional persons. Guests who book the Koro are treated to their own personal hostess, chef and guide for game drives and special programs for children are also available.

The Homestead is the heart of Bushmans Kloof and comprises two lounge areas with fireplaces, an extensive library, internet access, bar, walk-in wine cellar, heated pool and fitness center. There is a Heritage Center where guests can view Bushman artifacts such as jewelry, bags, dolls and dancing sticks. The guides and resident archaeologist hold special talks and discussions in the Heritage Room that offer special insight about the region.

Dining is an exquisite experience and guests are treated to meals in the River Boma, the Makana, the open-air dining venue “Embers” and Kadoro, a secret dining location in the reserve, especially for private groups. In addition the lodge will provide a picnic lunch as an option and guests can always choose to dine in the privacy of their luxury rooms.
