Djuma Vuyatela
Djuma Vuyatela is an exclusive lodge in the Djuma Game Reserve, part of the Sabi Sand area. “Vuyatela” means “come and visit again”, a term typifying African hospitality. The lodge features an amalgamation of modern South African cultures, with influences from all corners of the world, and each chalet, or “kaya”, was inspired by local building techniques.
Property Details
The lodge comprises eight luxury suites with en suite bathrooms that include an additional outdoor shower. Each chalet has a private lounge as well as a private deck with a plunge pool and is secluded in the bush. The bedrooms look out over the deck into the lush savanna.
The main lodge features a double deck and an outdoor dining area. There is a wine cellar and a bar overlooking the watering hole, and the main area also hosts a large aquarium with indigenous species from the Kruger area. There is a suspended bird watching tower for guests who are fond of ornithology. You will be treated to twice daily game drives as well as a daily guided bush walk. The rest of your time is at your leisure to enjoy the lodge’s amenities or to simply relax on your deck and enjoy the view.
