M/V Aqua

The M/V Aqua is the first luxury cruise ship to sail on the northern Amazon River in Peru. Designed by world-renowned Peruvian architect Jordi Puig, the ship can accommodate a maximum of 24 guests in all suite accommodations with vast panoramic windows in each room that look out onto the verdant Amazon Rainforest.

The M/V Aqua features eight oversized suites with comfortable seating areas and en suite bathrooms. The décor is inspired by the luxury Amazon River lodges, with one unique detail: huge windows at the foot of the bed span almost the length of your suite, providing incomparable views of the river as you sail along. At the front of the vessel you will find the four master suites, which are larger than the standard and include even more window space and a completely separate seating area. Four of the suites can be connected to cater to families wishing to explore the Amazon in luxury.

The menu on board the M/V Aqua has been carefully designed by one of Lima’s most famous chefs, Pedro Miguel Schiaffino, and is presented on delicate crystal and china service. It finds its influences in Peruvian and European cuisine, and there is a large selection of wines available, giving you the opportunity to experience many of South America’s finest.

Perhaps the most exciting aspect of a cruise on the M/V Aqua is the inclusion of numerous daily excursions along the river and into the rainforest. The ship’s three naturalist guides are experienced and highly trained to provide you expert knowledge of the Peruvian Amazon. These guides will accompany you on all of your excursions, by skiff or by land, and will help you to notice even the smallest details of life in the Amazon.
