This is a private house situated on the outskirts of Langata, approximately thirty minutes from Nairobi city center. Far from the main roads and secluded in ten acres of private land, this property offers a stunning view of the Ngong Hill as well as personalized service and exclusive accommodations consisting of five tree houses and one apartment.

Ngong House is a unique experience. Staying in tree houses, guests enjoy a very different but high degree of luxury. Four poster beds, crisp linen, and exquisite, gourmet food are just the beginning. The main house and each tree house also have fully stocked bars.

The evenings start with sundowners on the veranda at tree level, from which one can watch the breathtaking sunsets over the Ngong Hills. Nature lovers can enjoy a large variety of birds feeding from the birdfeeder hanging in front of each tree house. After sunset and before dinner, drinks will continue with the other guests around the campfire under an acacia tree near the swimming pool.

Built entirely from wood, the tree houses feature separate living and sleeping areas. They are raised 15 feet from the ground to gain an uninterrupted view of the Ngong Hills over unspoiled bush. They have grass roofs made in the traditional African way. They are designed with extreme comfort in mind, yet the interiors have a decidedly rustic feel. The talents of regional artists and artisans add many of the finishing touches, such as hand woven rugs, bedcovers, lamps, and stained glass.

Ngong House has a reputation of serving refined food prepared with local ingredients: game meat, fresh lake fish, seafood flown in from the Indian Ocean, all prepared with a large variety of fresh vegetables, in tasty yet healthy way. The Kenyan chefs have been specially trained by several visiting chefs from Belgium.
