Rekero Camp

Rekero Camp is a seasonal camp located in the Masai Mara and is set up to be ideally situated for viewing the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra through the Serengeti and Mara ecosystems. The hosts have worked together with their team of professional Maasai safari guides and camp crew for years, creating a well-functioning camp that provides guests with a truly memorable experience.

Property Details

There are nine spacious tents at Rekero Camp, comprising two family tent and seven twin or double tents that can also accommodate an extra bed. All of the tents feature en suite bathrooms with flush toilets and safari showers.

Rekero Camp’s safari chefs delight in producing farmhouse-style cuisine that utilizes influences from both the East and the West. In addition to dining and sundowners at the main lodge, you can also enjoy picnics in the bush for breakfast or lunch.

The camp’s location near the confluence of the Mara and Talek Rivers provides excellent game viewing opportunities. Enjoy unobtrusive access to the local wildlife from custom-built safari vehicles or on foot with your expert Il Dorobo and Maasai guides. The camp can also arrange visits to one of the guides’ villages as well as a hot air balloon safari from one of the local lodges.
