Property Details

Leleshwa consists of five spacious tents and one luxurious tented suite. Each is private and opens out onto a veranda from which guests can enjoy the breathtaking scenery. The suite has an adjoining lounge and is perfect for families or for honeymooners to relax in privacy. All tents have en suite bathrooms with flush toilets and hot water showers.

No two days are alike at Leleshwa. With such a wide range of activities on offer, you will never be bored; you can decide the frequency and duration of your activities. All game activities are led by accredited professional safari guides, and game drives are undertaken in closed four-wheel drive safari vehicles with three roof hatches. Drive day or night, or participate in guided walks and hikes. In addition, the camp will be happy to arrange a hot air balloon safari for you and provide the transfers.

You can also visit a traditional village or local school to experience the amazing culture of the Maasai people. The camp is environmentally responsible and heavily involved in community projects. Water is treated through the septic tank and returned to the wetlands, firewood comes from trees that have been knocked over by elephants, plastic and glass is recycled, and waste is composted. The camp works to help improve local lives by contributing to the infrastructure, health, and educational development of their communities.

Delicious meals are served in the open dining tent, or al fresco when possible. Sit around the large dining table or the boma at night and discuss the day’s activities with the other guests. Meals can also be arranged as picnics or bush dinners, and guests can also arrange to dine in privacy on their veranda.
