Itinerary Description:

Arrive in Istanbul and enjoy a private cruise along the Bosphorus after checking in to your accommodations at Ciragan Palace Kempinski Istanbul. The next two days will be spent touring Istanbul’s captivating historical locations like the Hagia Sophia and the Suleymaniye Mosque as well as shopping in the local markets.

The next leg of your journey takes you to Cappadocia, site of many unique geological, historical and cultural features - well known for mazes of underground cities. Overnight at the incredible Argos in Cappadocia and discover amazing rock formations like the “fairy chimneys”, cave dwellings and the rock-carved churches and chapels throughout the region. Explore Kaymakli Underground City, the recently discovered mosaic houses of Sahinefendi-Sobessos, monasteries and the old Greek town of Mustafapasa. You can also make special arrangements to add an optional hot air balloon adventure over Cappadocia on one of the mornings you are there.

Continue on by air to investigate the ancient Greek city of Ephesus, including the Terrace Houses, the House of Virgin Mary and the Basilica of St. John. Next, head to the marina to board your private gulet, a traditional wooden sailing vessel, for your five-day cruise around the Bodrum Peninsula. While aboard this luxury vessel you will enjoy ample leisure time to swim in the same waters as Cleopatra as you are ferried through the bays with every whim attended.

Head back to Istanbul for one more afternoon of touring the city’s wonderful museums and relax for the evening at the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet before returning home.
