Itinerary Description:
Spend your first few nights in royal luxury at the Imperial Hotel in Delhi. Explore this magnificent city with a walking tour of Old Delhi and a half day tour of New Delhi.
The next part of your journey takes you into Rajasthan and your accommodations at the Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur. Enjoy a half day tour of the city, the former capital of the old Mewar state, with a visit to the City Palace and the Jagdish Temple, as well as the gardens and fountains of Sahelion Ki Bari. In the evening, cruise along Lake Pichola, admiring the magnificent sunset across the sparkling waters.
Continue on to Jodhpur and your accommodations at Umaid Bhawan Paalce, one of the largest residences in the world. In the afternoon, you will visit the Bishnoi Villages, famous for their conservation efforts and traditional lifestyle. Tour the city and visit the impressive Mehrangarh Fort before taking a stroll through the city bazaar.
Next, travel to Jaipur where you will spend two nights at the Rambagh Palace, an architectural masterpiece of Rajput and Mughal design. You will explore the Pink City and visit the Amber Fort and the majestic Palace of Winds.
Finally, head to Agra, home of the celebrated Taj Mahal, and your accommodations at the luxurious Oberoi Amarvilas. You will enjoy a guided tour of the Taj Mahal as well as a morning tour of the Agra Fort. Before heading back to Delhi for your last night, enjoy an excursion to Fatehpur Sikri, the magnificent fort palace of Emperor Akbar.
