Itinerary Description:

Arrive in Lima for an overnight at the luxurious Casa Andina Private Collection Miraflores, in the heart of one of the city’s most fashionable districts.

Fly to Cusco where you will be met and driven to the Sacred Valley of the Incas and your accommodations at Sol y Luna Lodge & Spa. Enjoy a full day tour of Pisac market, the village of Chinchero and its market, and the Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo with lunch at a local hacienda.

Board the Vistadome train at Ollanta Station and head up into the Andes on your spectacular journey to Machu Picchu. Enjoy lunch at the sanctuary and a tour of the citadel before heading to Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel to relax for the evening.

You will have the opportunity to explore the ruins again the next morning before departing on the Vistadome back to Cusco. You will be met at Poroy Station and driven to Casa Andina Private Collection Cusco, an intimate hotel that was once a sprawling colonial house.

Enjoy a half day tour of Cusco and the nearby ruins, starting with Santo Domingo Convent, located on the site of the Koricancha temple. Tour the Plaza de Armas, the Iglesia de la Compañía, the main post office, and the eighteenth century Cathedral before continuing to the countryside to visit Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, Tambomachay, and the Red Fortress of Puca Pucara.
